Hello! My name is Gina Stinebruner and this is my second year at Rineyville Elementary School. I am a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am currently enrolled to begin my masters program this fall at the University of the Cumberlands to obtain my degree as a Reading and Writing specialist. So, needless to say, it is going to be quite a busy year for me as well as your child! I love teaching at Rineyville and I believe we have some of the strongest faculty and administration in Hardin County. I am so blessed to be a part of this family.
I am a native to Meade County and I have a wonderful husband, John and two terrific sons, Derek and Nick. Derek is a current graduate at the University of Louisville and is newly married. Derek is also blind and has a guide dog named "Cliff". It is important for your child to know that regardless of any circumstances they can achieve everything in life they want. Because of Derek's disability, it has made me a stronger individual and teacher. Your child's success is top priority to me. Nick is currently attending the University of Louisville and is top in his class in the Bio-engineering department. Needless to say, they are my pride and joy.
John and I have three dogs, Bandi, Smokie, and Samson. They rule our world and are spoiled rotten! We also have one cat, Pumpkin, who mysteriously appeared on our sidewalk on Halloween night. Get it? Pumpkin? Anyway, we are huge animal lovers and would be lost if not for their company and entertainment.
I hope I get to meet each and every parent this year. I feel parent involvement is a key component to a child's success. Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions or concerns. Rineyville Elementary's phone number is 270-737-7371. My classroom door is always open to you!
